@hmlarsson those are beautiful. Never tried the Soller last; their rain last is my favourite so far.
I'm more of a round toe guy. Therefore I like the Soller last even though the Rain last is also a perfect fit!
Does anyone have any IRL photos of Carmina "brown museum calf"?
Monkstraps in (new) cognac shell...
^^^ love those!
Thanks pep! I love them too...
You may recall that you advocated for the cognac color when I was on the fence - I'm glad I kept them.
Anyone seen the new crocodile strap jodphurs sold by leatherfoot?
Carmina, job well done! They are beautiful
Any word on if carmina will be running a labor day sale like they did for memorial day with 15% off?
Found a local store that's selling Carmina on 50% off ($230), only two models though. One Bordeaux plain cap-toe, and other in plain black cap-toe. Both in rain last...mostly sizes under 10. Hopefully they'll go to 70% ($140) next week, though I bought a pair in Bordeaux.
I ordered a pair of the Massdrop Carmina Semi Brogue Oxfords back in May, they still are in production and are scheduled to ship out on Sept. 21st.
These are size 13
I no longer need these and will sell them for what I paid during the drop ($375.00)
I listed these in the classified also.
Contact me if interested.
Does anybody have experience with Philadelphia last? Carmina's website says it has E (narrow) fitting. Do I need to size up 0,5 from Rain/Inca last size?
I'm starting to break in a pair of monks on the Philadelphia last today actually. By the look it's very hard to separate them to rain, by the feel I find them to very similar with perhaps slightly lower instep and a somewhat tighter heal. I tried rain based monks earlier with the instep being slightly to high and the heel slightly to wide and the philadelpia works just fine
