Carmina Shoes - Definitive Thread (reviews, advice, sizing, etc...)

    I wear UK6.5/US9 in my Nike Pegasus and UK6 in Carmina.

    i think you mean s UK6.5/US7.5 in nike pegasus and UK6/US 7 in carmina

    so sizing down to a .5

    I thought so at first, but no... The label at my Nike Pegasus 3L is as stated (in both right and left shoe) US9/US6.5/EU40,5

    forest and rain last, are they the same length in same size and with the same hight in the toe box ?

    has forest last normal/highinstep or low?

    Forest and Rain fit quite differently. In my experience Rain is longer and wider and has a higher instep. Toebox may have some more space in Forest (widthwise, not heightwise). Instep on Forest is average, higher than Simpson and lower than Rain. I have a high instep which leads to quite some V gap between the laces on the Forest last without being uncomfortable though.

    Carmina uses UK sizing. My best guess is 7UK for you. My sneaker size is 0.5 larger than my dress shoe size. So I wear 7.5 UK in Carmina Rain, 8.5D in Allen Edmonds 65 last, 9D in Nike.
