"My colleague Daniel who is familiar with Aldens also wears Oscar in size 9 and 10D on the Barrie last, describing the fit "similar but slightly shorter". He wears 9,5D on the Trubalance last. However, in both EG and G&G he prefers 9,5E."

So he said take Barrie last size? If I'm a 10.5 in Barrie then I'd take 9.5 UK? Length is slightly longer but I can't really go down for width...

Also would prefer double danite sole vs single

Google let me to one of the shop owners instagrams, looks like it's a pretty round last, but not that wide compared to Alden?

The consensus from the Carmina sizing thread is that your Carmina size should be 1/2 smaller than your barrie, and 1 full size smaller than your normal US size (i.e. I am 8US, 7.5 Barrie, 7UK Carmina).

this is gonna be a no brainer but I have to ask to be 100% sure. Alden is top and carmina is on the bottom? If so the oscar last looks good

I think so too. Carmina's wide is comparable to an Alden "normal" width me thinks

Yeah pretty sure it's alden top carmina bottom, not sure how to size as it seems right between d and e for the oscar last...

For what it's worth, Betty recommends sizing down 1 size in all Carmina lasts

Yeah one down my d width size would be 10UK, but if there's more width, I could do 9.5 UK. Want to minimize creasing if possible...

i was worried about that also. I hate when the size is too big. But I think someone was saying the last is a little shorter? I dont know if that was for this last.
