MTO's seem to take way tooooooo long, look forward to pics, though.
Got two questions regarding the oscar last boot MTO
Is cognac shell more like cigar or saddle?
This boot as sleek as Peal Boot or Lindrick?
1. There is a pic of the boot we´re doing higher up in this thread.
2. Don´t know because i don´t own a Lindrick or Peal boot. Look at the pic of this boot and then google the others and compare yourself.
When you get those details I'll make a decision, take a tentative yes for now?
if the boot was a balmoral i may be in ahem hint hint
^ organize it
Plenty of horse booty for all
Lucky you all, i cannot even dream of wearing Carminas.
I wear a 12E. (in Allen Edmonds)
Yeah you can, that's the beauty of MTO. Any size you want and since the last fits a touch wide, it'll be perfect for you
what does sw&d mean?
Street Wear & Denim
street wear & denim as opposed to "mens clothing"
calikid, i think what you did made sense. save time on mto. i wish they had my size in that color.
I also see what he did, but I think the natural welt was a tad much, over say, a light brown or antique type found on Aldens. Something darker would have preserved versatility in the boot, but the boot still serves a good, albeit more casual, purpose.
Regardless, I like it.
carmina has one the fastest MTO turnaround of any shoe manufacturer. faster than meermin, G&G, AS, EG, Alden
Nick Horween's Carmina Cognac Shell Boot
Not entirely sold on the high boot vs slightly-lower-than-high boot, other than that, I like.
Wonder what it would look like with a 270 welt vs the 360.
