We are currently developing two new men's shoetrees. On the one hand a "universal" shoetree which will also be available in half sizes.

We will have a special edition for shoetrees which will be lasted and in the exact size as the shoes (picture with the red cord). We are yet to determine when we will be offering the special edition shoetrees.

Both are being manufactured in Spain with beech wood.

Fingers crossed all details will be worked in time to be available for my boots in the GMTO....

I prefer Carmina trees but am not sure the price difference is worth it.

The cost/benefit question of shoe trees is one that I wrestle with all the time. I'm in the same boat as @jet-stream where about half my Carmina shoes have Carmina trees (at $70 a pop) and the rest are in Woodlore Epics (mostly obtained via Massdrop at $23 a pop). Are the Carmina's really 3x better? Who knows.

Lasted trees are an interesting proposition. I splurged on lasted trees for the Zonkey Boot NST GMTOs I received a month ago. $125. The problem with the lasted trees is that the are significantly more difficult to get in and out of the shoes. Makes sense given that they are a much tighter fit. Not that it really adds much time or effort to anything but it is still an annoyance.

I wonder how much more/less difficult a three piece lasted tree would be to deal with than the standard two-piece style.

3 piece shoe trees are ideal. One can get the benefits of a lasted shaped tree, without the hassle of struggling while shoving the tree in. Or, struggling to remove a tree. Easy peasy lemon squeezie .

You place the front portion of the tree into the shoe, then you place the portion of the tree that fits in the heel. After that, you then put the middle piece in, and it fits very tightly.
Mine that do have 3 piece trees fit the shoes perfectly.

I'm thinking of ordering a pair of the burgundy museum Adelaides (not MTO) but my size is still in production. Does Carmina process your payment at the time of ordering or at the time of shipping? Thanks for your help!

Are you interested in model 80512 from the Buger last?

This model model is currently in stock in our stores. Which size would you be interested in? Any order is formalised by the payment, therefore, we would process the payment the moment you would place the order.

Hi, I'm interested in the above shoe. How should I size for the Buger last? I wear 11.5 UK in Forest and Uetam and 11UK in Rain.

Thanks for the reply! I'm actually interested in the Rain last (80391) version in 10.5UK. I think I'll probably wait until I see it pop up as in stock before placing the order.
