I think dark brown can do a job as well .. I would have gone for the dark brown ..

But in the end it’s ur call which direction u wanna take the color of ur shoe

Yeah, I think people worry too much about the color polish they use. Being a little off is not going to dramatically change the color of the shoe...polish is way less opaque than people seem to think it is sometimes. But if you're really worried, err on the side of a shade lighter.

So Carmina has three Rubi Shell wholecuts on Rain last in 6.5, 8.5, and 9.5 on the outlet.

There was a fourth pair, too.

Already gone or I can't see them?

After first few wears and first toe-shine :)

I usually wear the shoes a few times before shining it, to let the initial creases form so I know where they are.
Love them so far :)

Can't give you enough props for these.

What do you wear them with? Seersucker, linen, jeans?

Congrats.

Also, are the laces from Carmina or third party?

First of all, thank you very much for your compliments :)

And for your questions:
1) Linen and Jeans.
2) Carmina's white round braided.

I have Carmina trees in about half of my Carminas (woodlore epics in the rest). Most are hardwood, though I have 2-3 in cedar. The cedar pairs are lighter (unsurprisingly) but are the same shape and seem the same quality.

I prefer Carmina trees but am not sure the price difference is worth it. I’m 10UK and size down to 9UK trees for Simpson and Alcudia; size 10s will push the heel back more than I prefer.

We are currently developing two new men's shoetrees. On the one hand a "universal" shoetree which will also be available in half sizes.

We will have a special edition for shoetrees which will be lasted and in the exact size as the shoes (picture with the red cord). We are yet to determine when we will be offering the special edition shoetrees.

Both are being manufactured in Spain with beech wood.
