I recently picked up a pair of Carmina wingtips in a calf in a dark brown called "Espresso". I think this was a special make-up as I called the Carmina store in NYC and they were not familiar with that particular calf color. Wondering if anyone here has any pairs in this color and which Saphir creme color you would recommend? It's a very dark brown, but I think the Saphir color, Marron Force/Dark Brown may be too dark.

Long shot, but if anyone has insight on women’s fit, please get at me.

My wife has several Carmina shoes and boots and my sisterinlaw one.

Wife for US wears 7.5-8 depends on brand, Carmina says that should be a UK5-5.5 but we have found this is not so, she really takes a Carmina UK6. So seems find her size on the Carmina size chart and go for half a size up. Same goes for my sisterinlaw she takes half a size up from what the chart says so safe bet.

My wife usually wear 8B-8.5B US, and found Carmina’s UK 5.5 to be spotted on for all lasts except Women’s Simpson, which she takes a UK 6 (half size up, just like Men’s). Please keep in mind that she has quite narrow feet (a “B”).
