So, I've finally decided to take the plunge and get my first pair of monks. This will be my first pair of bench made shoes. As a student, its a little painful to drop the money but I figure I can justify the cost considering how long the shoes will last. Also, they're cool. I'm looking for something a bit more casual, i.e. rounded, not pointy toe (hence the appeal of the sids). Which would be the better buy in terms of quality?
