Carlos Santos - which size for 28cm feet?

Greetings,

I found a good Black Friday deal on Carlos Santos shoes, but I'm having problems getting the size right. My feet are exactly 28cm (11.02 inches) long, but there's around a gazillion of size charts out there. I dug out this in one of the other threads which suggests my size is 10UK.

Would that be correct, especially since most people here say CS shoes are a bit larger than their respective sizes?

My Florsheims are 11D (nothing else, so I assume it's US) - and that sort of fits according to the calculator I linked above. My Adidas tennis shoes are "US 11 1/2, UK 11". Both fit around the same. Not sure what to do, get the UK 10 or not?

Can anyone link a length-size chart that was accurate in their case?

I've been eyeing Carlos Santos shoes for a long time and I really, really want to get them. H.E.L.P.

It depends on whether you have high or low instep. My feet are 28 cm as well and I fit fine in a UK 9 for CS. If you have a high instep this might not work for you though...

I must say I've never given a second thought to instep. From looking at the pics on google, I would say I have a high instep. but how does that relate to shoe size (in terms of length of your feet and the shoe)?

Quite honestly it’s tricky as last type also play a role...definitely don’t order without option of returning. I’d recommend to mail the store and see what they say.

I'm waiting for them to reply. Do you happen to know the difference between 9, 9.5 & 10? My feet are on the wider side generally, but I doubt I should go higher than 10... what are the odds of our feet being same length but more than one size apart? (Presuming the last is the same.)
