Hello,
following up on the question raised by the good gentleman above regarding CS sizing, I am currently eyeballing a pair of these Chelseas.

Reference pairs are:
  • Meermin 12UK Elton last
  • Vass Budapester EU46 on P2 last
The trouble is that although the reference pairs were optimal on first try without any obvious pressure points, both have eventually started squeezing my pinky fingers after some wear, which was eventually (almost) remedied by a rather painful process of repeated wearing and stretching the toebox from the inside with a teaspoon. Therefore the optimal size in the above mentioned articles should have been +0.5, which first brought me to opt for CS 46.5.

However, since you mentioned that CS is generally running large, boots especially, it is quite confusing at this point.

If anyone with experience could provide an estimate on the appropriate CS size (or discourage me from the purchase altogether if you deem the lasts incompatible), I would be most grateful.

Thank you in advance and I wish you a pleasant day.

Nobody tags me so I rarely browse this thread. I would take UK 12 in that model based on my data.

Big fan of the JM Weston 180 loafer but their sizing is ridiculous and at their price I don't want to take the gamble when Carlos Santos make a very similar looking loafer for less than half the price
Anyone know how sizing should go with their loafers? TTS or half size down? Any experience?
