    It's impossible to say without feeling the cloth and seeing the cut and examining the stitching.  I am tempted to say that a cashmere topcoat for less than $300 belongs in the "too true to be good" category.  But others on this board have found deals even better than this, so who knows.

    Palazzi is a Roman tailor and haberdasher who rose to fame when the Roman look took off in the 60s.  His bespoke work is exquisite, but overpriced, in my opinion.  This coat looks like a RTW garment, bearing his name only because of a (no-doubt-lucrative) a licensing agreement.  I doubt, but do not know, that Palazzi had much to do with its make or design.
