It's impossible to say without feeling the cloth and seeing the cut and examining the stitching. Â I am tempted to say that a cashmere topcoat for less than $300 belongs in the "too true to be good" category. Â But others on this board have found deals even better than this, so who knows.
Palazzi is a Roman tailor and haberdasher who rose to fame when the Roman look took off in the 60s. Â His bespoke work is exquisite, but overpriced, in my opinion. Â This coat looks like a RTW garment, bearing his name only because of a (no-doubt-lucrative) a licensing agreement. Â I doubt, but do not know, that Palazzi had much to do with its make or design.
