Caring for Moose Hide Leather

I just purchased a pair of Moose Hide driving shoes to having something comfortable to slp on. I have never owned this type of leather before. I read somewhere that you shouldn't polish moose hide but rather use a leather cream. This is not something I am familiar with. Anyone have any thoughts or experience with this?

Thanks,
Wayne

I would just put some renovateur on it, or a cream polish. I can't see why that would be bad.

Thank you. Besides the renovateur, what other conditioner would be suggested? I agree that polish should not be used here. What about something like Meltonian Leather Lotion?
