Caring for Lambskin Jacket

Apologies for the repost. I posted this in a different thread but wasn't sure it was the right place, so I'm posting it here too.

The shell is lambskin. It's very soft and has a nice cognac color.

I'm trying to figure out how best to care for it without damaging or discoloring the leather:

First, what kind of spray or weather/stain protectant should I use?
Second, what sort of conditioner should I use, if any, and how often should I apply it?

Can anyone provide advice?
