I'm a little clueless on what to bring for dining out and nightlife. Other times I've gone to warm locations for vacation, it has either been for adventure, or in my pre-SF days, so who knows what I wore.
- For daytime, I have several preppy RL/JCrew shorts and polos. Bathing suits, t-shirts, etc.
- For footwear, I have two flip flops and some tan brown Topsiders.
- I plan on bringing some jeans, sneakers, light tan blazer, etc. for casual nights at bars.
- I am clueless on dining and nights out. I don't really have a lot of summer-weight clothing. Most of my slacks are dark. I don't know if I need to bring nice leather shoes or not.
All my friends and I are in our early-to-mid 20s. I don't want to overdress. I'm only even fretting because I know a few of the girls are bringing nice dresses so I don't want to stick out.
I know common sense says linen pants, linen shirts (not necessarily together), etc. Haven't found anything slim-fitting and nice when I looked around NY earlier today. At worst, I can wear my nice jeans and a polo out, with sneakers I guess? Ugh. Help me.
