Cardigan/jacket like this?

I was going through The Sartorialist's blog, and I came across this guy, and I really like his sweater/jacket. The comments on the post all seem to think it's a cardigan, but the button stance/shoulder/pockets/cut at the bottom make it look like a cardigan/sportcoat hybrid. Any ideas on what it is/where to get something like it?

BTW, I would absolutely wear the exact same thing. Really like every piece.

I have a similar, if not that exact same sweater/jacket. RL makes two versions; a wool blend for 265 or a cashmere for 1k.

Check polo.com, thogh they may all be sold out by now. I got mine a few months ago. It is a really nice versatile piece.

Why oh why did you have to show us that pic? Michael looks like a million bucks as usual and now I WANT that jacket.

I've been looking for something along those lines for a while. Usually you see them with a zip closure. APC did one recently I think.

I read on another internet message board that Anderson & Sheppard is very skilled at making cardigan-like jackets.

A Harris, are you referring to the gentleman Tomasso posted? That's nice, too--I kind of prefer the sweater sleeves on the other guy. Unfortunately, couldn't find it at polo.com

I'll check the local polo store, but my hopes are not high. Thanks for the tip, MrRogers.

Yes, that is Michael Sestak, US rep for Barbera.

Brooks used to make an 'Office' cardigan...
Knitted navy wool with pockets, buttons & notch lapels. Soft, nothing-there-at-all shoulders.
Only ever saw one guy wear one in London. A chap of a certain age & I'm sure his was not Brooks, him being an 'old school' Englishman.
Sisely (Sp?) that Italian company with links to Bennetton (sp?) offered them too a while back. Mid-80's? My wife got one & used to wear it around town.

I like the jacket that's like a cardigan more than the cardigan that's like a jacket I think.

Each to their own.

If he added a lid, scarf and gloves he could handle the low 30's.

Resurrecting this thread in the hope that someone can help me find something like this cardigan. I've been looking for a Brooks Brothers "office cardigan" for some time, but have not had any luck.

Anyone know of a similar knitted blazer / cardigan with lapels? I'd prefer patch pockets, but you know what they say about beggars . . .
