I have been eyeing the DeBuyer pans that someone posted but would prefer something with a wooden handle, which they don't seem to make. I have a couple pans like that which I bought here in Japan around 10 years ago, which are great, but I can't find them anymore and need a larger sized pan. Anyone know if these are available?

We have an ancient carbon steel wok with a wooden handle - I think they're pretty easy to find, if that is the shape you're looking for, in any china-town...

Thanks. Yea, I often see woks with the handles but I am looking for a more standard frying pan.

Judging by the looks of the handle, you could rivet wooden faces on if you had skills.
