I am looking for a good quality canvas with leather accent duffle bag? I have looked at Filson and Mulholland Brothers. Any other choices that you would recommend? And, any thoughts comparing the two would be greatly appreciated. Don't need the best but would like decent quality.

I don't really have first hand experience with either bag, but Mulholland's are made in China and still command a premium price. Filson still makes their bags in the good ole US of A.

Do a search in Men's clothing, a bit more insight there. Just ordered a large Mulholland Duffell from STP, will post about it after I receive it and use it.

I can't find a nice duffle for the life of me.

Hopefully the Ys one will work out and maybe pickup the apc one as a 24 hour one or some ish.

With the extra discount at STP, those Mulholland bags may be too good to pass up. Thanks for the suggestions and ideas!

Have you tried your local military surplus store? Or a website that sells milsurp stuff like this site? (i think the code in the link i have still works) http://www.militaryclothing.com/IBS/...rarchy/03.html I know you're looking for a more expensive high quality one, but the milsurp bag i bought from a local store which is also carried on this site has lasted me over 2 years with near everyday use and sometimes holding a lot of books. The strap could be thicker to aid comfort more, but it has been durable. It might work as a stopgap untill you find a nice one. My roomate has one of the top loading duffles and uses it all the time without problems. I might get one for something cheap that i don't mind getting dirty.

Not a brand some would typically associate with a hip canvas bag, but Stetson made a fantastic artisan canvas bag with leather trim as a part of its modern line. It seems to have disappeared though. It wasn't overly pricey either, about $250.

I've really wanted that A.P.C. weekend bag ever since I first saw it.

I couldn't find the engineered garment duffle bags anywhere. Anyone know who has them?
