• CALLING ON HOME SEWERS TO HELP HEALTHCARE WORKERS FIGHTING COVID-19

The lack of proper masks, gowns, and eyewear equipment is making it difficult for health workers to do their work fighting the novel coronavirus. In a recent New York Times article, medical workers said they were worried about how they can both fight the coronavirus without imperiling themselves, as well as their loved ones when they go back home.

If you are a home sewer, please consider helping my joining Hickey Freman Technical Vice President Jeffery Diduch in his effort to produce and deliver homemade gowns and masks to medical professionals in the greater Rochester, New York Area. Read about how you can help here

Yep, and the lower price compared to other seasons doesn't hurt
I have a pair of the suedes from a few years ago, and they are so comfortable. And remarkably lightweight. They are lined fully in leather, and I wear them without boots in the winter.

Nanamica, loosely translated to “The House of the Seven Seas,” is a Tokyo based outdoors-centric, casualwear brand that changed the game for how good performance gear can get and still look good.

An avid sailor and sporting enthusiast, Eiichiro Homma spent 18 years designing for The North Face. Though sportswear needs to meet the demands of the rigors of active life, Homma set out to add the emotional resonance of fashion without compromising performance. In 2003 he started Nanamica to pursue that vision and has dominated the conversation around performance driven garments as quality fashion ever since. Season after season, Nanamica produces some of the most versatile menswear collections in the world.

There are four key influences in the mix: Sportswear, military, workwear, and vintage (with those idiosyncratic details that are specific to the specialized modification of pre and early industrial design). Nanamica set the standard for combining cutting edge, teched-out fabrics and heavy duty construction with amazing details and timeless style - innovations that have inspired a wave of stylish outdoor gear - proving that what works in harsh conditions can work just as confidently in the urban commute.

You could stick a "Rowing Blazers SS/20" graphic on top and it would be totally current.
Really? Sweet... This is news I can use.

I’ve been mildly freaking out as everything kids are wearing nowadays look like it’s from the early 90s.

In other news, where is this live chat feature touted in a recent e-mail?
