So, wait, if you have nice candle holders, where the hell are you supposed to find nice scented candles to fit in them? It seems all the fancy candle makers (Cire Trudon, Diptyque, etc.) only may jar candles.

One guy at a shop told me to just put the whole jar in the candle holder. Is that right? Sounds like it would look super stupid.

"scented candles" I don't think (hope) so!

Are you opposed to scented candles in general, or merely scented candles in candle holders?

Most of the beeswax candle shops can source them for you. I have a pair of German silver candelabras that require a very heavy 'taper', heavier than a local shop would carry.

I prefer beeswax because they do not smoke or drip very much at all.

I assume you need a pillar style candle?

Since when has that stopped you from doing something?

I can look up my candle maker if you need. I'm very happy with the beeswax tapers that she has made for me.

Let's put this another away.

Assume a jar candle.

Are there any nice ways to display it?

This is a dumb thread no matter what gets posted in it.

Scented candles, advice, for the display of. I take back all my suspicions about Foo not having a sense of humor.
