Its their main line. I don't believe Proposta line exists anymore.

Hard to tell how old the suit is. Does the suit have vents?

one of my sort of "checks" is, what else are they selling?
in this case, this person sells antique/thrifted home decor, ie not the kind of person I'd trust to be selling me a good suit.

my opinion is PASS. Go with a seller who focuses on clothes, sells modern stuff not randomly thrifted stuff. It looks fairly old and outdated, not way out, but 10-20 years or so. And asking only $50 also tells you what the seller thinks it's worth...

just my $0.02

How does their mainline compare to Exclusive?

Their Exclusive line is fabrics that are super 180s and above. The main line is more durable and more fabrics to select from.

Suit does not have vents so it maybe over about 6-8 years old. I'd pass.

Fairly recent, I think within the past 3-4 years. It's a 13000 model though, their roomiest, most American cut.

^^^ it's recent? ok, if so then my mistake. I'm not expert on the tags. It could just be the conservatively cut lapels and gorge height that threw me off, plus of course all the other vintage wares.

The Modello 11000 and 12000 are drop 6 and they are both roomier than the
a) 13000 which is a drop 7
b) 14000 which is a drop 8

The new 15000 line is a 'natural drop' ... with softer shoulders and less structure than the 13000.

If a Canali suit/jacket is unlined then replace the leading '1' digit with a '2'.

Judging by the tag I'd say the suit is new..however the width and size of the shoulder pads and the location of the button point (as well as the fact that it is ventless) suggests its quite old.

Pretty sure they do not make the 11000 and 12000 anymore, or it is available in the US only. You know, for that "fat American"
