Yes, I forgot to mention the patch situation, which I agree with you. The dark patch on the Calgary is more subtle and kinda cool looking versus the louder red/white/blue one found on most CG gear. Def prefer the Calgary patch. However seeing that they are on the sleeve of both coats we are discussing it's a lot less of an issue for me compared to the CG coats where you sadly see it on the front chest.

Chaos, from what I gather, Toronto is CG country. The running joke is that so many Asian's wear CG in Toronto that they refer to it as 'Chinese Goose'. Is it really that bad up there? What, if any, CG coats do you own?

the situation is pretty bad in toronto, not gonna lie. the canada goose chilliwack has basically become mandatory attire for all college students (even high school) and young professionals. it's ridiculous, pretty much every other person in toronto is in a chilliwack (or a similar winter bomber).

i own the yuki matsuda x canada goose snorkel bomber in herringbone (harris tweed wool).

it's getting too small for me and as i've mentioned in a couple posts above, if anybody is interested in this jacket in XS, feel free to PM me. be warned though, this is not a cheap jacket by any means.

Luckily in the States CG isn't nearly as popular and trendy.

Most likely due to the skiing culture. Bet it's the same in Vermont and Colorado.
