the patch is unfortunately not removable, the byproduct of heavy branding of course

and yeah, i agree, i wish it was one size up, the fit is too tight for this style of jacket

I don't know if it's the same exact type of stitching, but if you check out the photos from this link it appears someone who bought their CG coat on Amazon was able to remove the patch from their Citadel parka and rather cleanly. Again I don't know if it would be easy and with the same results on this special edition CG coat.

As for the patch on this specific CG coat, it doesn't bother me as much as the red/white/blue one you see on the Expedition and others. Also I think it's less of an eye sore because bombers have more of a sporty look versus a parka.

I'm not an expert, but that looks really fake to me. Fur looks fake. The spelling of the CG website has a dot instead of a dash on the tag, a big giveaway. I would definitely not buy that coat.

Honestly you are playing with fire by buying CG on Ebay. It is infested with fakes. Where do you live?

Hi, thank you for the reply.
I live in Holland and the price for a cg bomber in the shops over here is €550-600

buy from an authorized retailer. if you dont you will end up with a fake jacket and people will laugh at you. this is a fashion forum, if you are going in on the cheap you are kidding yourself ... the clothing industry is not for bottom feeders.

if you cannot buy new buy something else, unless you want a knock-off.

Considering they are both slim fit cuts, I'm guessing the Calgary was just too big for your liking. I also really liked the slim profile of the Chateau.

Personally think the Chateau is way nicer than the Calgary. The Calgary is your standard puffer coat but with a fur trim hood. The Chateau has a superior looking shell and just looks sharper overall.

    agree with everything you said

i just dont like the standard patch that is a little loud for me. the jap line calgary has an all blacked out one. plus less pockets and less going on with the calgary made it a simple cleaner look that i was originally going for

BUT i do agree after handling both jackets, the shell on the chateau is way better and now that i have these extra pockets, its utility is def superior to the calgary. since this is a winter coat for really cold weather, i think i made the better decision for utility over looks and i love the look of the chateau anyway so win/win

^ agree that the chateau is better than the calgary. the only good thing about the calgary is the understated black patch.

anyway, the canada goose on ebay listed above is 100% fake. don't buy it.
