1910 - 1920s Men's Linen Sport Coat $225 USD The pictures are copyright protected so I didn't copy/paste. The closeups at the link are better anyhow. Too small for me.

It has a notched collar and is ventless. There are 2 patch pockets and a pocket at the chest. 2 shell buttons in front with 2 at the sleeves. It has a buttonhole on the collar for a boutonniere. It is unlined. The notched collar has a graceful curve to the outside edge. The jacket goes in slightly at the waist which you can see in the photos. It is not the sac cut that we see with many American men's jackets. There is top stitching on the outside edges and around collar. If you love collecting and wearing true antique men's clothing...this is not to be missed. Enjoy. CONDITION: Excellent vintage condition. SIZE: 37-38. Size is For reference only. Always use measurements provided below. We want this to fit you! My customers that call with any size or measurement concerns always have the best results. PLEASE email or call with ANY size concerns. ~Length: 29-1/2" (right below collar and straight down back) ~Chest: 40" ~Shoulders: 18" shoulder to shoulder ~Sleeve: 25+" shoulder to cuff The waist measures approx 36-37"

Looked like it was never worn. Well, except for the saggy edged patch pockets.

It's a great piece. Looks very modern. I suppose that that's the point of classical menswear. It truly doesn't go out of style. I'd wear this in a heartbeat. If it were around $100 that is.

I'm surprised a white linen jacket managed to survive the early 1900's.

Good find.

You were the second guy I thought of when I saw it. The first guy thinks it stinks.

Wouldn't want to wear it, would probably disintegrate. A 100% linen jacket I bought from Zara fell apart after only 3 years.

Methinks the construction on this might be a step up. Or several steps up.

As others above have pointed out, it probably will dissintegrate upon touch. The smell, well that's another story.
By the way, the style is awesome. I'd wear the **** out of it, if it was new.

What's up with the sleeves? Almost look cuffed.

It's 1910 AD not BC. Why would it fall apart?
