I have my eye on a Corneilani suit at Saks (Spencer model). I love the fit of the jacket, though it could be a touch shorter. The main problem for me is the trouser rise, which is way too high (a function of me having a short torso). The salesman insists that the rise can be shortened, but I'm skeptical. He says it's routine to lower the waistband and relocate the zipper. That sounds like major surgery to me that can significantly alter the cut of the pants, and I'd need the front rise lowered at least 1-1.5 inches to be to my liking. Is he right?
