I ordered a jacket online and its about a size too tight on the shoulders and arms; in particular, the armhole is placed too high up and narrow. I can wear it, but only with an extremely thin shirt underneath, and with limited arm mobility. I didn't exchange it because it was the last one they had and decided thought it might be altered to fit better.

The jacket in question is this: http://diabro.net/product_info.php/c...oducts_id/4548 but in grey.

By looking at the detail photos, do you think there are ways a tailor may be able to squeeze an inch or two out of the shoulders or back?

I'd say 99.9% unlikely (def not in the shoulders). you'll prolly just have to wear it as is, just don't do jumping jacks while wearing it.
