PS How do I get the images to show up in the thread via photobucket? Doesn't look like its working through the insert image function.

I've never had this type of stitching repair done, but I think a cobbler should be able to take care of it.

you need to get the direct link in order to do insert image, so on the picture click view image

not sure why everyone is being such a downer. Yes, they're beat up, but he's not looking to make them look new, he's looking to repair them, which a cobbler can easily do.

cost-benefit, it's not worth spending the cash.

The leather looks like it's in good shape. I'd either take it to a cobbler or stitch it myself, depending on how worn the sole is. If you think there's still some wear to the sole, then just take some good dental floss, like the Gore stuff and stitch it yourself.
