Where is your "friend" getting them from? Because AFAIK genuine LV is only sold in their own boutique stores, and not from a man in a pub or whatever.

he works at saks, hes supposedly getting it from another friend who works at the lv store where they trade discounts occasionally

if its a good friend he can let you have belt and verify it at the LV store, or meet you at the LV store to verify,

from pics belt looks legit but LV fakes are sometimes really good

thanks for the help man. hes more of an associate. im meeting up with him later tonight, so i either wanna get my money back or buy another one.
so if anyone else can confirm thatd be great. I mean it feels like real leather, i have no reason to believe its fake just reassuring myself

ask him to show you receipt or stop by LV yourself

Go to an LV store. Many of the SAs in department stores (saks, etc.) that sell LV, dont know fake from real!

The fakes can be leather as well, after all we have enough leather belts around here in pretty much any luxury brand you desire. Plastic if you want to be really cheap. I've got a Dunhill leather belt that was bought locally holding my pants up at the moment,
