I had the waist of my tuxedo pants/trousers taken in to be tighter; mistake, i admit. (Suspenders go on anyway).

Can I take the waist back to normal? Or is the pant waist messed up now if I did that?

Can I just undo the stiching myself or do i need to take it back to the steamstress?

If the original fabric was left on the seams, which it should have been, then they can be let out again. Unless you can resew the seam yourself you'll need to take it back to be altered again, the original seam should have been unpicked before sewing the new seam, so you can't just cut apart the new seam and fall back to the old one.

How do you feel about spending money on non-essential goods during the Covid-19 crisis?

  • I don't want to spend money at a time of economic uncertainty, even if I could afford it.

  • I feel compelled to spend to help small businesses that are struggling.

  • I reduced my budget for non-essential goods and I'm not spending at the moment.

  • Not much has changed for me and I'm still buying stuff I can't afford.
