Doesn't match up anywhere in my color wheel. But I'd probably wear it as a SC, with the right color pants and tie. However one large mean SOB would have to hit me and threaten more, to make me wear those pants.

Love it. I like the occasional loud suit though and don't work in finance (although I don't consider that suit all that loud even). The navy tie and cream shirt rec sounds good to me.

I like it a lot. But I live in California and we aren't as stuffy about clothing as the East Coast still seems to be. Shame on them! I agree that you should start with wearing it on a Friday. If you get the beetling eyebrow treatment, save it for going out to eat or impressing the ladies.

Its acceptable. I'd wear it any day of the week.

It takes a lot of guts to wear that to a board meeting.

thanks I defintely wont wear this to any serious client meetings or anything. Not sure how it will play out as a summer suit because the material seems to be a thicker wool

I would not, it isn't my style. To each their own.

Absolutely! I would stick to a white or blue shirt and solid tie, though.

So is my office yet for a lark I wore my tweed suit one Friday. It's a rather colourful tweed and surprisingly the only person who said anything at all was the receptionist who kindly shared with me the fact that she hated it.

Not that I'd take any real notice of a 19 year old girl anymore.

19-year-old girls are morons. They don't know shit.

    20-year-olds however; now that's maturity.

But seriously, you work in finance and have to ask this question? We're in an industry where wearing a pink shirt is considered 'out-there'.
