I think it looks awesome, and I don't usually even like chalk-stripe.

And I have laugh at people who are so self-conscious that they think anyone would notice or care if they wore peak instead of notch lapels...

I'd agree. About the only thing most people will notice is the color of the suit unless there is something really odd intended to bring attention. I've been wearing a peak lapel suit in a regular rotation and, while I've had people discuss the color ("sand&quot no one's ever mentioned anything about the lapel. People will notice pockets, if its highly unusual and you wear a square or something to attract attention.
