Can I "track" private messages (via e-mail)?

I can't seem to find an answer to this, but you guys can correct me if I'm wrong. I see an option to "track" private messages, but can't seem to activate it. Is there a way to have the system push me out an e-mail when someone leaves me a message?

Ouch! I guess I'm getting old. I won't tell you how long I spent trying to figure that out. Maybe I should start using emoticons to put a spring back in my step. Although, you're talking to a guy who is still pretty proud of the fact he has started using an exclamation mark!
