Has anyone heard of Can-C cataract eye drops? Are they real or a hoax? All I was able to find was the website of the company that developed them, Innovative Vision Products. I looked through the list of patents they hold and checked the US patent -- it was indeed granted, so at least the company exists beyond the website. However, I didn't find any independent review/critique of the product itself.

There is a book about the drops on Amazon, and one of the reviewers said they didn't slow down his cataract growth, let alone alleviate the situation. But I can's find any critique from medical authorities. Has anyone heard anything / has a relative or friend who used them? Maybe read an article in a medical mag that I didn't notice while googling? What are other ways to check the legal status of the product and the company holding the IP? I would greatly appreciate any pointers. Thanks!
