Can anyone verify the authenticity of this Brioni Topcoat?

I am looking at purchasing this on eBay. It's from a seller who has a solid reputation and has sold a lot of products, but I wanted to know if anyone knows enough about Brioni to tell if this looks authentic or not? The label does not have that XXX stitching but I wasn't sure if the topcoats should have that as well. It is ~$400 which I do not know if that is too good to be true or not.

The thing that makes no sense to me is why would you want a quarter-lined topcoat? Such a weird setup here for a topcoat. I'd pass for that reason. You can get authentic (older) Brioni topcoats for cheap. The price isn't unreasonable and if you can return just send it to a reputable tailor nearby to see if you can ID.

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
