Looks fine to me. Are there trousers that come with it, because otherwise it looks like an orphaned suit jacket.

Perhaps. I couldn’t really date it, but it’s an odd duck.
There are details that put it in the casual category (patch pockets, piping around the lapels and edges) but then it’s pinstriped.
