1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

OMG! I spotted this guy with this super cool leather bag on the street in Melbourne, Australia. The leather seemed to be thicker than saddleback leather, and the width is broader! Can anyone ID this? Thanks!

It reminds me of a vintage lawyers hard shell. I would also like to know who makes it.
For future reference ...whenever I've had moments like this, I have approached and greeted with a smile, then asked directly right there on the spot where I could purchase a briefcase (bag, etc) like that. I've never experienced any resistance to this approach. You'd be suprised how the pride of ownership makes a person approachable and happy to tell you
This gent is enjoying his clothes for sure..but his shoes are far too long for his feet. Even he may not know the bag manufacturer either. It was probably a hand me down or thrifted. Still, it has a very substantial look to it.

Looks quite a bit like a Ghurka Counselor.

Yes, I should have maned up to ask him! I am filled with regrets now, hopefully, someone here knows where it came from!

How in the world do you know his shoes are too long for his feet?
