Can anyone help with a product to achieve messy/stuck-up hair (think bob dylan)?

i have curly hair and right now its short, but id like to grow it out... problem is i dont know a medium sized hairstyle that looks good on me... i really like the old 60s bob dylan hair style and i was wondering if there were any hair products that would be good at messing up my hair and keeping it all over the place like that?

Get a harmonica and a guitar and go out on the road.

That look should be possible, but would you be willing to have a wet version of the look? That's what many styling agents would give you.

You may have to learn how to use a curling iron. You'll need to relax the curls in your hair, by dragging them out, with the iron. I've seen my hairdresser do this, but it's not easy. Afterward, you'd need some styling 'hold,' in order to keep the curls from coming back, before the end of the day.
