Can anyone comment on Vestimenta?

I did a search, but was unable to gather much information. It sounds like they were once a decent producer of suits, but were possibly purchased recently by another company? Where does this leave them now and how do they rank in the Sartorial world?

Yoox currently has a number of different Vestimenta offerings for around $450. I'm tempted to check them out but first thought it would be a good idea to get an opinion from those that frequent this form.

Thanks!

A few years ago they had a great product. Recent Vestimenta suits I've seen were fused and nothing special. I saw a fused one at Daffy's last week for ~$150. On the back of the inner label it said Tombolini!

Not bad for the money but nothing like it was just a few years ago.

That's too bad. I have a few Vestimenta suits (and a tuxedo) from a few yearsback that are really nice. Full canvas, great fabrics, very soft.

The Vestimenta web site states, "Eugenio Tombolini Spa concludes the acquisition of the brand Hilton Vestimenta."

I guess that's why the above poster found a Tombolini tag in his purchase. It also probably means Vestimenta is now a re-tagged Tombolini and thus not nearly what they were in the past.
