Hi all -- question from the "new guy" here -- I was wondering if hand-sewn moccasins be recrafted? Take for example this Alden moccasin from the Cape Cod collection:

Once the sole (which is sewn to the shoe) wears down, is it possible to replace or recraft, or does one just have to buy an entirely new pair of shoes? Would it help to get topy's or heel taps for something like this?
Many thanks,
Cacky
