For a person who yearns for the fine things in life, and fitness enthusiast, is personal training financially rewarding? I'm looking forward to your thoughts and ideas as I would certainly love to pursue a career in fitness and sustain a good lifestyle.

I have been a personal trainer for seven years now and it has allowed me to FIRE. You just need to be ready to sleep with your clients, be they male or female.

Unless you have A-list mates who you can charge/use to get others, it isn't going to be financially rewarding.

I debated it years ago, with my own 'unique' angle - I knew my stuff/was great with folk and walked the talk - but realised wouldn't be a money maker and long, long hours as well.
I use to frequent strength training forums where there were a few PT's and the message they gave out - e.g long hours 5am for one, 9pm for another - cancellations / idiots/ more cancellations .. you get the drift ? This was before the Youtube era of videos telling you everything for nothing as well.

Thank you Flashheart for your candid response and sorry for the frustrations that you had. Indeed I have also thought about the A-list clientele and I am still doing some more research.

Joe Wicks (The Body Coach) seems to have done very well for himself, with his mixed media approach, recipe books, charity work and just being a positive influence in a world of doom and gloom.
