Can a dress shirt be let out just a little in the chest

I have 5 like new and really really ridiculously good looking dress shirts that I haven't worn in a year. I started weightlifting this year and have put on some mass. My chest is larger than it was, but not significantly so, as while I've gained muscle I've also dropped substantial fat (I went from a 50# bench press to a 250# press, and my weight is the same). So I'm slightly bigger all around.

My question is: can they be let out a small amount in the chest? Right now I can close the buttons and actually wear the shirts just fine, but there is obvious pulling around the buttons and I'm pretty sure I could hulk-pop the buttons if I did a full chest stretch. I'd rather not give them away but I have a willing and appropriately sized hand-me-down recipient waiting if the answer is a negative.

I doubt it. Dress shirts tend not to have much extra fabric, unlike suits. Take a look at the side seams. If there is extra material, then sure, but it is unlikely.

Sell the shirts and cut your loses or stop working out as much. That said, the buff look is in.
