In the market for a winter coat to wear over conservative Paul Stuart suits. I own a great light weight cashmere from TSE that's mid length and camel color that I picked up on Bluefly; and it would be ideal if it was warmer. I am now really looking hard for a great super heavy weight camel hair coat for winter in NYC.

What is the most appropriate Camel Hair coat for suits? Single breast, double breast, short, long? Also, scarves... I see a lot of guys with square scarves like a pashmena, is that appropriate?

I will put my vote in for the classic "polo coat". Camel hair, double breasted, patch pockets, belted back, turn back cuffs. Brought to the USA by Brooks in about 1915, but I prefer the variety that Ralph Lauren has.

Funny, that's exactly what I was thinking but figured someone here would see my favorite designer as providing a replica of a better original from somewhere. Appreciate your help.

[IMG] , but integrated into the flow of the conversation. Even related to a keyword! Sneaky! I give this gentleman credit for taking a personal and targeted approach. Also ban him.
