What do you guys think of this coat? I'm leaning against it since camel-hair and chesterfield aren't a typical combo.

Against. Color combo is off, and if this is true camelhair, the texture would be wierd as well.

I would propose that this is a camel covert coat and not a chesterfield. A chesterfield is usually a little longer.

A covert coat is usually made of covert cloth.

The colors just seem off to me, taking off that velvet collar would help. If the coat is cheap enough you could have a tailor reconstruct one in camel or even a darker velvet maybe. I suppose it could work in certain environments , but I'm not sure where exactly.

Pass. I know you can get green ketshup now; but that does not make it right.

Despite the torrent of negative views, I find it a smart look.

I would not buy this one.
The camel hair coat should be a very different coat.

The coat in the style of this one should be (at least) a dark wool herringbone.
A proper Chesterfield coat is great item to own.
It is not a camel hair or cashmere coat - those should be polo coats.
