Hi all! My first post here and I was wondering something.
I'm trying to sell my suit and wondering how much I should look to get for it

It's a Calvin Klein Navy Pinstripe suit -
Three-Button Suit, Blazer (40R) & pant (33"x 30)
armpit to armpit - 19" - 20"
Sleeve - 23"
Bottom of jacket to top - 32"

I've never worn it, bought it originally for interviews, but that ended up failing, I got a better fitting suit

I dont fancy your chances of selling it around here. On eBay you could get lucky and sell it for $20 - $30 in general auction. I would put it on Buy it Now with chance of offer. You may get more money this way.

Here on SF Buying and Selling, you would only be able to get rid of it if it was free and you pay for postage as well.

Like Klobber states, best bet is to try eBay. To truly get the most $$ for it, might I suggest Craigslist. General populous will see Calvin Klein label and thing it is designer.

As for here, you would be hard pressed to sell it or give it away like Klob said.

Taking into consideration the loss you will make selling it on eBay, you may be better of keeping the suit and getting any minor alterations done.

I'd pay about $20 not to have that suit.

I had an old shapeless CK suit sitting around from about 5 years ago when I bought it during university but never ended up wearing.

Couldn't sell it at any price, I ultimately put it in a used clothing donation drop-box outside my apartment building which supports research into cerebral palsy. So I felt pretty good about that, and I wasn't gonna make any money on the suit anyway.

It's kinda weird how something can be so expensive (which is supposed to mean desirable if you think about it) and then become so utterly worthless, like Designer-XYZ items on eBay getting relisted for 15%, then 12%, then 10% of original MSRP.

Yeah it is weird... it doesn't make much sense since usually nothing does that, especially if its never been worn.

anyways, I got an offer for it for $55 on eBay, unless someone takes me up on my $100 pricetag on craigslist, I think I'll just sell it to the guy.
