Not sure if this has been noted, but if it hasn't, it should. Along the lines of O'Connell's BBOCBD 'old stock' listing, check out these pants. It's like they raided every WASP countryclub lockerroom while everyone was showering for dinner:

I love how many of them have waist sizes available in 28 and 29. From the pre-Big & Tall era.

And all made in the USA.

I think that's every pattern that can be seen by the human eye. Maybe some that cross into UV as well.

I'm always tempted when I see those since bleeding madras isn't made anymore (or at least none that I'm aware of) - might look pretty good with my Norman Hilton dinner jacket [IMG]

O'Connells also has the last of the old stock Troy Shirtmakers Guild shirts (R&O Hawick cloth), but they too have been on the site for a long time.

Bleeding madras shirts/trousers/sport coats were made with a madras cloth that used dyes that weren't colorfast so the colors "bled" into each other. The colors do fade over time and, because the colors bleed everytime the item is washed, it looks different each time. All madras currently produced uses colorfast dyes so true bleeding madras is quite rare.
