Members,

I am a new member and I am happy to be here. I look forward to my continued learning on this forum.

I would like to ask two questions of anyone familiar with bespoke in Madrid. I recently moved to Madrid for work from Chicago and needed some advice.

During my move, I brought with me 8 bolts of Thomas Mason shirt fabric to have some shirts made. My first question, can anyone recommend a bespoke shirt maker in Madrid? I am willing to hold onto the fabric as well and take it to Riddle or Chris Despos in Chicago if I can´t find anything here. I was just hoping to have something made while here.

Second question, I was John Lobb this past weekend stocking up on some shoes and the store front that they are in is shared with a custom tailor shop. I can´t remember the name of the tailors sorry, but they had some very nice fabrics and a nice selection. Does anyone know the name of the tailor and the quality of work? I wanted a new Chesterfield coat made and some suits and was thinking about trying them out.

All suggestions are welcomed and thanks in advance.

P.S. I tried searching and could not find the answers so if this has been covered somewhere, sorry.

Camiseria Burgos. Not sure if they'll be hip to your bringing cloth. Calle Cedaceros. Close to the Prado.

They are the tailors to the royal family IIRC. If you get something made please post pics here, I'd love to see how it looks.
