Is that the old Jayne Mansfield/Ringo Starr house on Sunset? That's gone?

The Colosseum is a sucktastically bad place to watch a game. The Rose Bowl is marginally better. Memorial is awesome.

The old Stanford Bowl was OK, but long sight lines.

Totally. Memorial is my favorite football venue. (I'm a Bears fan, too). Curious about the remodel.

The other two have sentimental value. I saw the '84 Olympics with my dad at the Coliseum. And the Rose Bowl just because it always seems nice in California on New Years Day.

Yep. Roland Arnall, the owner of the neighboring estate bought the property and demolished it in order to expand his grounds. Happened almost 10 years ago.

And true to it's California spirit it has a fault line running right through it. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Califor...morial_Stadium

It literally runs goal post to goal post:

The fault "creeps" continually, distorting and weakening structures:

seeing this from the water is even more awesome than driving over it

Hmm, the thought of seeing the bridge from a boat has never crossed my mind, lol.
