cahmere sport coat

What do you guys think about a cashmere sport coat ? Something like 85% cashmere and 15% wool or 100% cashmere.. will it fit good you think or it would be too soft to get a shape of sport coat ? Or it's better to get one in wool..

I have 100% cashmere coats and they hold up fine, unless you touch them you would not know they were not wool.

I have a 100% cashmere sport coat from Oxxford. It has held up just as good, if not better, than my other wool sport coats.

Fit? Or durability?

Fit depends on getting one that fits you.

Durabilty on mine is fine.

I have one. It looks and feels fine (I hope.) Too new to comment on durability. It's damn warm though.

Thanks guys, my concern was about fit-shape, i am now convinced that fit would be as good. I found a deal on a Zegna sport coat (made in switzerland, where i live, by the way i am surprised that they are producing in switzerland as it's an expensive country and they are not so skilled in clothing) the price is 100 $, i think it's a good deal, especially size is exactly what i am looking for.

$100 for a Zegna wool cashmere sport coat is a no brainer.

+1. They look and feel great, and I've not had a 100% cashmere jacket wear out; camel hair yes, but not cashmere.
