This seller (with whom I have no association) has two C&J shoes for auction on EBay (at $225 start). The shoes are marked 7 1/2D (I assume the U.S. equivalent of maybe 8C). Yet his measurements are stated to be 12" long and 4 1/2" wide (larger than any of my 9E shoes-too bad as I'd like the brown suedes). This could be an opportunity for someone else. I looked up the C&J catalog on-line-no shoes like these are shown. Passing it along. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws....me=WDVW EDIT: Outside measurement of C&J Whitehall (UK 8 1/2F) are 11 1/8" long x 4" wide.

Hm, that's odd, since they're clearly marked 7 1/2 on the inside. At $225 though, not much of a bargain.

Looking at these shoes again, they're the American size, as the shoes are from Barney's. Koji is certainly right in that they are not the greatest of deals.
