Just spoke to someone there. The discount on $495 shoes (not handgrade) is somewhere in $150-200. Which means that they would be about $300. If the same discount is applied to Handgrades, then they would be about $450 (currently $650, IIRC). So no big discount compared to plal.com.

For exact details call and speak with Cindy; she is not in today.

Isn't that about the same once you factor in shipping?

1499 MYR = 423.02 USD.

There's also the instant gratification factor, and if you're not sure of your size, getting to try on what fits best. It sounds like a good sale to me.

They're usually pretty good about mailing empty boxes to out of state addresses, if you know what I mean.

Do they stock boots there? I'm looking at the Conniston. What is Plal? I hit their site, but can't figure out the exchange rate.

One more thing - what do you think of quality of C&J vs Alden? Alden has some nice Shell Cordovan High Lace Boots that also interest me. Same price.

They have some boots, yes. Probably not everything will be on sale, however. Trees are extra, and are not lasted, IIRC.

They've been kind enough to do so for me thus far.
