I've been looking to purchase C&J shoes (particularly the shoes in the 337 and 348 lasts), but there is a problem. I have wide-ish feet (I wear a 9.5EE in AE's 7 last). Will I fit into any of the C&J shoes? I've been eyeing in the Audley and some of their boots. Thank you.

As frustrating as it is, there is no substitute for trying them on. For example, I'm a size 9 UK in the Connaught (can't remember the last), but a 9.5 UK in the Audley (337 last). As tempting as it is to get shoes online at a discount, I'd iron out sizing issues at a store first.

Doubt it will be comfortable in an "E" fitting (normal width). Depends on where you are wide. Don't forget your instep.

i have 5 pairs in the 348 and i only had trouble breaking in the Westbournes. I have a wide right foot and the instep hurt. They took 6 wears and a stretching at the cobbler to remedy. I will say that the tetburys in suede were perfect fit out the box even with my wide foot.

A lot of effort... Why not just get the proper width to begin with? F? G?
